見微知著-過度專業舉例說

這些日子為了可以平順的到Maastricht上課做準備辦東辦西的
(真不知道是不是自己窮緊張哈哈)

因為很多事情都是自己在網路上看過訊息後
線上辦理再由荷蘭學校裡面的不同行政單位處理


常常因為說明並沒有提到我想要知道的細節所以總是又要再多緊張一下,多問一次
可能歐洲地區本來就強調個人的休閒時間所以工作時間比較少
再加上可能暑假期間大家都在準備所以業務量不少
其實我覺得大家遇到的慢吞吞問題我已經是覺得還好了

只是有幾次我提出問題我覺得都挺讓我哭笑不得的

以下舉兩個例子

1.
這是很開始的時候我剛收到Admission approved letter
裡面是這麼說
Congradulations! Your registration request to Maastricht University
has been approved. Use your user ID to confirm your registration on:
http://myum.unimaas.nl/


Please feel free to contact our Call centre for answers to any of your
questions regarding studying at Maastricht University

都這麼說了我當然不客氣的寄信去問問題了啊
結果過了許多日子之後我收到回信
真是有點傻眼

回信是這樣

1. We advise you to contact the International Relations Office of the School of Business and Economics, they might be able to provide you with some kind of admission letter. You can find different ways to contact them on our website, http://www.maastrichtuniversity.nl/web/Faculties/SBE/TargetGroup/ProspectiveStudents/ExchangeProgramme1/IncomingStudents/ContactUs1.htm.

2. You can contact the Visa Office on visa@maastrichtuniversity.nl.

3. We advise you to contact the Guesthouse about the confirmation of your room, you can do this via guesthouse@maastrichtuniversity.nl.

4. You can find more information about the pick up procedure on our wesbite, http://www.maastrichtuniversity.nl/web/faculties/sbe/targetgroup/prospectivestudents/exchangeprogramme1/traveltomaastricht.htm/.

5. About our public transportation: you can buy an OV-card at our railway systems after your arrival, they will also be able to tell you more about the Strippenkaart.


簡單來說就是給我一堆其他信箱跟網址還有叫我去問其他單位= =

那幹嘛跟我說可以問你啦~


例子2.
這是最近的事,
前陣子完成選課之後,
其中一門課的教授有寄信來要我們到學校教學平台(EleUM)下載日後上課相關資訊

上到EleUM之後意
外發現我選的另外一門課的Avaliability的欄位寫著:UNAVAILABLE
因為我有在選課期限內完成,所以我有點驚慌的寄信去問我的學院
究竟這是指說我沒有選上這門課,還是指平台上面沒有相關的課程資料而已

我覺得這個問題應該滿容易回答的
等啊等啊等了5天
我才終於收到回信

Unavailable just means that the information concerning these courses is not published yet. Please rest assured that when you are registered for these courses you can take these courses !

雖然寄到學院信箱裡面,
可是感覺是又轉來轉去轉給某個特定負責人之後才終於回答了這個問題
答案如此簡短可是轉了好多天


結論：
之前多次以為他們直接不理我了
都在我快要放棄這封信的時候收到回覆
be patient and prepare carefully in advanced!
